Ich habe den Sonntag im Garten verbracht, um mal ein wenig “klar Schiff” zu machen. Schon vor ein paar Tagen ist mir aufgefallen, dass eine Amsel regelmäßig den Meisenknödel besucht, der bis vor kurzem unter einem riesen Weingestrüpp versteckt war, und über den Winter unentdeckt blieb. Die Amsel jedenfalls verschwand immer wieder mit vollen Backen, um schon wenige Minuten später wieder aufzutauchen. Das Nest muss also ganz in der Nähe sein. Am Sonntag dann habe den Pflanzstreifen in unserem Innenhof geharkt, was viele Regenwürmer ans Tageslicht gebracht hat. Am Anfang war die Amsel noch vorsichtig und traute sich nicht so recht ran, obwohl ich sehen konnte: Ihr läuft das Wasser im Mund zusammen! Als ich ihr dann einige Würmer “zum Fraß vorgeworfen” habe, hat sie diese in kleine Stücke zerhackt, und ist damit in Richtung Nest abgehauen. Schon eine halbe Stunde später war sie so zutraulich, dass sie bis auf wenige Zentimeter an mich ran gekommen ist.
Inzwischen ist sie quasi Nonstop hier. Wann immer ich aus dem Fenster gucke sehe ich, wie sie Würmer jagt oder den Meisenknödel auseinander nimmt.
Unsere Freundschaft wird wahrscheinlich nur einen Frühling dauern. Schon bald werden meine Erdbeeren und Himbeeren reifen, und dann werden wir uns wahrscheinlich richtig böse in die Haare kriegen.
